Welcome to Chiron Recovery. Our admissions process may vary slightly from program to program, but we keep it as simple as possible for our clients. It’s important to us to provide you with the services you need in your time of need.

Reaching out for help can already be tough and the thought of the process you may have to go through can be overwhelming. We’ve considered this carefully while developing an admissions process to help you succeed in obtaining the care you need.


When you contact one of our devoted staff members, an admissions specialist will help you identify your area(s) of concern, answer any questions you may have, and help you gather the necessary information to continue in your admissions process.

The admissions process is the first step you’ll take before transitioning into one of our programs. For more information on what programs are available, see below or click the tabs with the same titles.

Brief Overview of Our Simple Admissions Process

  • Contact Us – Our knowledgeable intake staff members will guide you over the phone through an initial assessment of your needs including a clinical assessment of your addiction history as well as any mental health concerns.
  • Insurance & Payments – To ensure you don’t encounter any problems upon arrival, we will collect and verify your insurance benefits. Additionally, we will go over any copays or specified financial agreements and match you with the program that best addresses your needs.
  • Transportation – If you or your loved one needs assistance with deciding for traveling to our facility, our kind staff can help you. Upon assessment and evaluation, we strive to have you at our facility within twenty-four hours to begin your treatment.
  • Arrival – During your travel time and upon arrival at our facilities, your personal intake coordinator will remain in contact with you and help you transition into our care seamlessly. Your intake coordinator will remain in touch with you to coordinate transportation from the airport to our facilities where you will be greeted by facility staff and finish the admissions and intake process on site.

Our Admissions department is staffed with professional team members ready to help you through the process of finding the right treatment program for your unique needs and circumstances.

To show our commitment to you, we always start the admissions process at no cost to you. We accept most types of insurance and are always willing to coordinate individual financial plans with you to supplement or replace insurance coverage. Once one of our friendly intake staff members will help you identify the program that suits your needs, they’ll help you compare options and verify your insurance coverage and benefits.

We understand the process can feel overwhelming, so we’ve prepared a pre-arrival checklist to help ensure you have everything you need for your stay.

Pre-arrival Checklist

  • Important and necessary documents such as state issued picture I.D., driver’s license or a passport, insurance, and prescription cards, as well as a contact sheet
  • Please bring all medications and prescriptions with original labels as well as contact lens and necessary accessories, in addition to up to date contact information for your primary care physician
  • 5 to 7 days’ worth of casual clothing, church clothing if applicable, clothing for recreation and gym use as well as beachwear and a beach towel.
  • Toiletries and personal care items including sunscreen for the length of your stay
  • Electronics limited to iPod, CD, or MP3 Players with no cell connection, camera, or internet connection
  • Postage for mailing letters

We don’t want you to lose your belongings or have to discard them or mail them home so we’ve also provided this helpful reminder for your convenience.

Items Not to Bring

  • Electronics such as computers, laptops, and those that have cameras, cell, or internet connection
  • Musical instruments
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Clothing not listed on below suggested clothing list, including anything provocative or sex in nature
  • Aerosol products including cologne or perfume
  • Mouthwash or any product containing alcohol
  • Food
  • Valuables including those items that hold high sentimental value to you
  • Clothing, products, or items that promote sex or are otherwise inappropriate
  • Narcotic or addictive medications including but not limited to, Suboxone, Subutex, Valium, Xanax, Klonopin, and Adderall or any related generics of these medications

We want you to be prepared for your stay as well as comfortable so we’ve provided a checklist to help you back below.

  • Casual, comfortable T-shirts or tops (Absolutely NO promotion of sex, drugs, or alcohol on clothing)
  • Shorts (appropriate length)
  • Jeans
  • Sweatpants & sweater
  • Gym / recreational clothing
  • Beachwear (No thong bikinis)
  • Tank Tops (No spaghetti straps or tube tops, thicker straps only)
  • Tennis shoes, beach shoes, socks, and slippers
  • Suitable undergarments must be worn at all times
  • One or two long sleeve shirts
  • Outerwear dependent of time of year – rain jacket or warm winter coat
