Searching for addiction support and freedom? Chiron is here for you!

Admissions For Professionals

At Chiron Recovery, we’ve streamlined our admissions process for the benefits of our patients, their loved ones, and those professionals who are trying to make a difference in their lives. Whether you’re a case worker, insurance agent, managed care company personnel, or a physician, we strive to keep the lines of communication open and break down the barriers that can hold patients back from the lives they seek through recovery.

Patient autonomy is something that we as professionals can respect, that’s why we understand a patient’s right to decide about where they receive treatment. With so many rehabilitation facilities to choose from, it can be tough to discern which one may be the right fit. The chosen treatment center can make or break a patient’s recovery, we hope that ours will set the foundation for long lasting recovery and maintenance.

Our goal is to help patients, their loved ones, and all medical or mental health professionals come together to create a smooth transition into our rehabilitation or other therapeutic programs. Coordination is key and we are committed to helping everyone involved get to the place they need to be.

Admissions for Professionals

Our sought-after programs are highly specialized and designed to help patients make the leap into recovery just as soon as they have been medically cleared for treatment and are in stable condition.

How to Refer a Patient

Referrals can be made on a patient’s behalf through anyone assigned to or dedicated to the care of the individual. Family members, social workers or physicians are welcome to contact any of our program intake staff members.

To make a referral to our Palm Beach Gardens, Florida location, please:

  • Get in touch with our admissions or intake staff directly at (999) 999-9999
  • Get in touch with your case manager, social worker, or physician and have them forward the following information to us: complete history and/or clinical assessment, medications & prescriptions, any available lab reports, and any professional notes (physicians, social workers, etc.)

A Chiron Recovery intake specialist will review your file with careful consideration to identify any missing documentation or provide clearance for entering a program. Admission may be based on the patient’s medical condition and needs at the time of request, program availability, and the individual’s commitment to reach rehabilitation goals.

When referring a patient, please be specific as to preference of programs. Our Palm Beach Garden location will do their best to ensure proper placement of patients into desired programs based on bed availability in programs or services.

If you need assistance from our intake personnel, please contact us directly so that one of our staff members can discuss with you the necessary steps and help you to secure a bed and necessary approval for admittance.

Insurance & Billing

Chiron accepts most major insurance companies and managed care plans. If you have questions about coverage that you are unable to find answers to through your carrier, let us know how we can be of assistance. Please advise the patient of the Pre-arrival Checklist, as they will need to bring their insurance card with them to ensure proper billing and payment procedures.

Financial agreements can be made on a case by case basis to supplement or replace insurance benefits and coverage. If your provider advises you that Chiron is out of network, please contact us to see if we have an existing agreement to extend coverage to you. We do our best to accommodate all individuals seeking treatment.

Building the Foundation of Recovery Starts at Chiron Recovery

At Chiron, our mission is fulfilled when our patients find success in recovery. We take pride in doing our very best to get our patients into our programs and on their way to recovery with as smooth a transition as possible. When you start out on the right foot, you’re more likely to succeed.

Before treatment begins, patients will be required to sign many forms for the release of information that will be shared with our medical staff, therapists, and your care team for the length of their stay. Consent forms are only signed if patients understand and are willing to give their consent. If a patient will be more comfortable in the presence of a loved one or family member, we always welcome them to join for this part of the process.

We ask that all patients bring with them and provide to us the following documentation:

  • Insurance Cards
  • Prescriptions & medications with original labels intact
  • Contact information for primary care physician and/or caseworkers

Other necessary items patients should be advised to bring are seasonal clothing, casual clothing, beach wear, and church attire if applicable as well as personal care items. While some electronic devices are allowed, please be aware of which electronics will not be allowed into our facilities. We have restrictions in place to help us ensure patient success, we ask that all patients are respectful of not only their recovery but of those who will also be on the path to recovery with them.

For a more extensive list of things all patients should bring, please visit our Admissions page to view our pre-arrival checklist, things to pack, and learn what items should be left at home. If you were unable to find the information you needed for patient referral or you just need more information, please feel welcome to contact any of our staff members. Our staff members are always on hand to be of assistance to you in any way they can be, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We look forward to hearing from you.
