What You Should You Expect from our Rehab Centers

We at Chiron pride ourselves in taking the intimidation out of the admissions process and out of recovery altogether. We’re breaking down the barriers that stand in the way of your success. Our top priority is to help you achieve long-term sobriety on your terms, at your pace. Prior to your arrival, we’ll take care of initial assessments, insurance and billing, and everything else so that you are ready to join treatment as soon as you arrive.

Following your arrival, you’ll meet with your dedicated medical staff members to decide on the best course of action for your treatment. We’ll go over treatment and therapy options and decide on the best services for you including therapy and addiction treatment services. If you haven’t already been through a detox, you may be required to go through it now under the supervision of a medical team.

Medication Therapy

Whether you are recovering from an alcohol addiction, dual diagnosis, or mental health related issue, your treatment plan may consist of daily therapeutic medications. This will occur only after you have successfully detoxed and are medically stable. In addition to other counseling and therapy sessions, medication can be essential to your long-term recovery and maintenance.

Drug and Alcohol Abuse Testing

Part of committing to recovery includes the willingness to submit to regular drug and alcohol testing. While you reside in our care, we require that you refrain from using any substance, to monitor progress, we may test you at any time, several times, throughout your stay. Because you may participate in outside activities in the community, we have to ensure your sobriety at all times.

Group and Individual Therapy

Many people who suffer from addiction aren’t sure how they ended up on the downward spiral they’ve found themselves in. They aren’t bad people but addiction can often force difficult and misguided choices in life. During rehabilitation, you’ll have individual and group therapy sessions regularly to overcome addiction, learn about yourself, and learn how to live soberly.

Group Therapy Admissions Process

During individual therapy, you’ll work on learning more about yourself. You will learn to connect the dots of where underlying issues may have helped trigger an addiction. Learning about yourself includes talking about not only the present but the past and the future. Our qualified therapists always provide you with a safe environment to help you feel secure in opening up. During therapy, you may even learn that you have a dual diagnosis, which is one of our facility’s specialties.

During group therapy, you begin to interact with peers just as you might after recovery. Here, you’ll interact with people are also on the path to recovery, we find that having common ground with others is a great way to begin to foster new relationships and learn how to do so without the use of substances. It’s here that you learn that you’re not alone in your struggles, you have others who have gone through or are going through very similar situations. You may develop lifelong friendships and a strong support network to help get you through recovery for the long term.
