Searching for addiction support and freedom? Chiron is here for you!

IOP Treatment

At Chiron Recovery we offer different types of programs to suit the varying needs of our clients. The programs can be divided into three main categories; inpatient care, outpatient care, and intensive outpatient care.

Inpatient Care

Inpatient care requires the patient to reside in our residential facility located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The main advantage of inpatient care is that the recovering addict is removed from the environment that was enabling their addiction. The recovering addict is free from access to alcohol and drugs.

Additionally, inpatient care also allows the recovering addict to break away from the influences that have been causing distress and facilitating addiction. The patient is free from the distress that may result from challenges at work and at home.

Outpatient Care

At Chiron Recovery in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida we have an outpatient program for those who cannot manage to enroll for the inpatient care. The outpatient care requires the recovering addict to visit the facility for a few hours every week.

Outpatient care may be suited for those who have responsibilities at home that they can’t leave behind. This includes professionals and business people who have to attend to their daily commitments. Parents and addicts with dependents may find this program to be more convenient for them.

Intensive Outpatient Care

Chiron’s Intensive Outpatient Care offers a more specialized approach for the treatment of alcohol and substance abuse. Even though many people may find the outpatient care to be more convenient, it may not be the best option for some addicts seeking rehabilitation.

For example, a teenager with a substance abuse problem may have an unstable home and there may be influences around him that may be leading him towards addiction. Usually, a residential program may be ideal for the teenager facing these circumstances. However, other circumstances may make the residential program to be less feasible.

Evidence Based Therapy

Chiron’s intensive outpatient care is based on evidence-based methodologies towards the treatment of alcohol and substance abuse. Our therapies help patients to understand the causes and factors influencing their substance abuse problem.

Evidence Based Therapy

Chiron’s intensive outpatient care is based on evidence-based methodologies towards the treatment of alcohol and substance abuse. Our therapies help patients to understand the causes and factors influencing their substance abuse problem.

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): Cognitivemanagement of substance abuse as well as mental illness. CBT aims to find the patterns of behavior that may be leading to addiction and other self-destructive behavior. It may be useful in pinpointing underlying mental conditions that may have triggered the substance abuse problem. Adjustments are made to these patterns of thought to get the patient on track towards alcohol and substance abuse recovery.
  • Individual Counseling: At Chiron Recovery we have both individual and group counseling sessions. A qualified therapist conducts the sessions. In an individual session, the recovering addict is encouraged to explore their past, present and future and understand the kind of impact that alcohol and substance abuse impacts on their lives.
  • Group Counseling: Group counseling can be beneficial to addicts struggling with a substance abuse problem. Members of these groups are encouraged to share their experiences and positive reaffirmations are also encouraged during the sessions. Members of the group can benefit by looking at their substance abuse struggle through the eyes of other members with the same problem.
